Dr. Oleh Matsevych is a Specialist Surgeon with Advanced Laparoscopic and Endoscopic skills.

 

He has special interests in

Dr. Oleh Matsevych obtained his undergraduate and Specialist Surgeon degree in Ukraine.

He further completed his surgical training at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU) and is a Fellow of the College of Surgery of South Africa (FCS SA).

He obtained his Master of Medicine in Surgery (M.Med.) degree from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU) and Ph.D. in Surgery from The University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN).

Dr. Oleh Matsevych is an accredited Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeon (holds international accreditation from Proventi). 

 

 

Dr. Oleh Matsevych practices at

● Mediclinic Heart Hospital,

● Life Eugene Marais Hospital.

 

The main rooms/office is based at Netcare Montana Hospital.

 

Gastroscopy and Total Colonoscopy can be performed in the rooms.

The High Definition Esophageal Manometry and Gastrointestinal Capsule Endoscopy are performed in the rooms.

 

Dr. Oleh Matsevych is actively involved in academic activity and associated with Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU) and

is a consultant (part-time) at the Department of Surgery.
